Our Strategy

Our claiming partnerships acquire horses of racing age either through private purchase, auction, or claims at the racetrack. This strategy allows us to acquire horses that are already fit and ready to run while allowing our partners to enjoy racing in a few weeks rather than several months to a year.

Our yearling partnerships acquire one year old colts and fillys at public auctions like Keeneland. This approach allows us the opportunity to find nice young horses who can hopefully compete at the higher levels of racing. Once acquired these yearlings are sent to a farm to be broken and trained up to a point where they can be shipped to the racetrack for the final 90 days of training under Keith Desormeaux. Our goal is to begin racing them as 2 year olds.

Whether claiming or buying horses at the auction Keith Desormeaux has proven his horsemanship time and time again by selecting nice quality horses and improving them while under his training and care.

Our Model

Our model is very different than the standard partnership models offered in the industry. Our stable does not incur any monthly expenses. Our trainer takes care of all the expenses, and we revenue share purse money won with him. This means we never incur nor have to pay any monthly bills. Standard industry horse ownership involves monthly costs of $2500 and up.
