Welcome to Don't Tell My Wife Stables.

Our Stable was founded in 2010 by a group of 8 guys who put in $800 to claim a horse and have some fun. We came up with the Stable Name honestly...at the end of every conference call to set our Stable up one of our partners always said "Geez, whatever you do don't tell my wife, she's gonna kill me". She found out a month later, and he's still a partner today!

We purchased our first yearlings at the 2011 September Keeneland Yearling Sale,. From that point on we shifted from the claiming game to take advantage of Keith Desormeaux's talent in selecting yearlings and two-year-old's for us.

Stable Highlights

2014: Danette ran 3rd in the Chandelier Stakes (G1) to qualify and run in Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies where she ran 5th to Take Charge Brandi
2016: Decked Out won the Providencia Stakes (G3) and the American Oaks (G1)
2017: My Boy Jack won the Zuma Beach Stakes to qualify and run in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf
2018: My Boy Jack won the Southwest Stakes (G3) and the Stonestreet Lexington Stakes (G3) to qualify and run in the 144th Kentucky Derby where he ran 5th to Justify.
2018: Reflect ran 2nd in the Darley Alcibiades Stakes (G1) to qualify and run in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies
2022: Candy Raid won the Bourbonette Oaks Stakes to qualify and run in the 148th Kentucky Oaks
2023: Confidence Game won the Grade 2 Rebel Stakes to qualify and run in the 149th Kentucky Derby

Partnerships

Our LLC partnerships are private. New members are referrals from current partners only
We buy three to four yearlings or 2 year-olds in training that have the pedigree and physical confirmation to potentially compete at the highest levels of racing
Total Capitalization is typically in the $400,000 to $600,000 range. with a minimum investment of $5,000
