Kirk Godby
Co-Founder
Kirk has been involved in the thoroughbred business for over 30 years. His passion for the Sport originally came from being involved in his father’s racing operation. In order to learn the business from the ground up Kirk spent several months at Louisiana Downs in 1992 where he worked as a groom and when he met Keith Desormeaux.
After his tenure at Louisiana Downs Kirk has stayed involved in the family’s racing and breeding operation. In March of 2010 he co-founded Don’t Tell My Wife Stables with the goal of allowing individuals from all walks of life to enjoy the thrills and excitement of owning a piece of a thoroughbred race horse.
Kirk is the Manager of the company’s partnerships and operations, and resides in Fort Worth, TX with his wife Kelley.

Rob Slack
In Memoriam
Rob found his passion for thoroughbred racing in high school when he worked summers as a mutual clerk at Saratoga Race Course.
Rob was co-founder and a driving force to get our Stable off the ground in 2010, and was active in the management of the partnerships along with handling the Stables' social media content. He had immense pride and joy in all the success we’ve had, but what he treasured most were the new relationships he formed with our partners and others he met in the industry.
We lost a great man and friend, and he will be sorely missed, but his legacy will live on as we are committed to honoring him in a meaningful and lasting way.
