Kirk Godby
Co-Founder

Kirk has been involved in the thoroughbred business for 30 years. His passion for the Sport originally came from being involved in his father’s racing operation. In order to learn the business from the ground up Kirk spent several months at Louisiana Downs in 1992 where he worked as a groom and consulted with trainers.

After his tenure at Louisiana Downs Kirk has stayed involved in the family’s racing and breeding operation. In March of 2010 he co-founded Don’t Tell My Wife Stables with the goal of allowing individuals from all walks of life to enjoy the thrills and excitement of owning a piece of a thoroughbred race horse.

Kirk is a co-manager of the company’s partnerships, and resides in Fort Worth, TX with his wife Kelley and two daughters.
